This role will be responsible for providing Systems Delivery and Operational Support to the teams in EMEA. **Key responsibilities include:** + Playing a part in the integration of the team with the overall function. + Putting forward ideas on continuous improvement for the function. + Designing MES systems solution, creating functional and technical specification definition for internal use and handover to 3rd party and vendors. + Reviewing of functional and technical specifications, testing, preparation for UAT. + Implementing of approved MES systems changes and enhancements. + Identifying the preventive actions to keep the applications in operational condition and fixing root causes. + Ensuring hand-off or escalation of tickets to line managers or to the relevant resolver group in a timely manner so as not to impact the target SLAs. **What are we looking for?** + Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in computer science, business administration or other relevant field required. + Experience in a similar role, providing IT support relevant to manufacturing/industrial environment. + Good knowledge of Database operation, MS SQL , C#, and general scripting. + Work collaboratively across departments. + Ability to define development specifications, document known errors and solutions for bug fixes and development. + Fluent English. **Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
