program focused on the implementation and maintenance of Epicrsquos Electronic Health Record EHR Over new positions have been created to support growth in the Fairfield County area of Connecticut We are looking for individuals with experience in one or more of the following Epic clinical modulesbull Acute Clinical Appsbull Ambulatory Clinical Appsbull Willowbull Radiantbull Cupidbull Beaconbull Healthy Planetbull HaikuCantobull MyChartTelehealthbull EpicCare Linkbull ReportingPreference will be given to individuals with current Epic certifications or operational experience in the following clinical areas Nursing Pharmacy Radiology Cardiology Oncology etcPosition ResponsibilitiesAccountable for supporting the scope schedule and quality of project and maintenance work within their respective teamareaCollaborates and consults with team lead manager andor director to coordinate activitiesUnderstands the operational issues within their application area well enough to represent user needsAnalyzes workflow decisions and how they translate into application configurations to ensure system design reflects decisionsAnticipates and provides solutions to complex problems with the necessary priorities Presents solution to operational leaders within respective teamareaAssists in the development and documentation of internal policies and procedures that will be used in conjunction with the applicationActively participates in weekly team meetings to discuss team and project related activities issues change communications and updatesBuilds effective relationships with business partners through all the phases of projects to support completing projects goalsSupports all project team members with application and information systems knowledgeCollaborates with vendor resources plays an active role in managing the technical build testing and migration of the systemContributes to testing scripts and materials and performs unit application and integrated testing tasksDocuments and maintains all required system design and build documents and configures system accordinglyEngages the clinical and business community to ensure their voices are heard their needs are met and they are kept informed of project progressPromotes a team atmosphere that is conducive to the overall accomplishment of goals schedules and deadlinesSupports end users during go live which may include night and weekend coverageProficient in Microsoft Office products Word Excel PowerPoint Visio Outlook etc Knowledge of project development life cycle methodologies desiredTravel to
