The Opportunity
We're seeking an Engineer to join our professional Digital and Advisory Services team to work on variety of programmes and projects relating to Transport, mainly in the area of Intelligent Mobility, Intelligent Transport Systems, communication networks, data analysis and related activities, across the full delivery lifecycle in Ireland and abroad
As a Transport Technology Consultant at Arup, you will:
Be involved in transport-related programmes and projects that will be both exciting and challenging. The scope of the role would include but not limited to:
Preparing designs, documents and contracts Managing Projects to ensure compliance with requirements Recording and Reporting Project Progress Working with clients and delivering to the highest quality standard Preparing, analysing and visualising complex project data Working with a skilled and energised team Helping the team grow and develop in new areas of business and skills Developing and enhancing relationships through project delivery
Does this role inspire you?
We're looking for someone with prior experience of Intelligent Transport/Mobility Projects with a degree in Engineering, ICT, Construction or related discipline.
The ideal candidate will have:
3 years’ experience minimum or working in a project design/control/management environment Systems integration knowledge and experience. Experience in working with communication networks, CCTV systems and ITS systems Experience on Utility type projects Prior experience working in a Consultancy environment Experience in delivery of infrastructure or ICT projects. Planning, monitoring and reporting on complex projectsWe also value:
Full Driving Licence Strong interpersonal skills, team working, communication, problem solving, presentation skills and stakeholder management Team-working and leadership qualities essential Strong focus on quality Willingness to travel on short term assignments Ability to work alone with minimal supervision or in large multi-disciplinary teams.
