OVERVIEW The ITSM Practice Architect II (PA II) position is a leadership position in the organization that is responsible for managing multiple consulting and delivery projects and account teams/programs. The PA II provides consulting and delivery assurance of services for clients through a range of internal and external functions in the following areas: Consulting, Account Interaction, Service Delivery and Practice Delivery responsibilities. The position of Practice Architect II is distinguished from more senior Practice Architect positions by the nature of the engagements or programs involved; deal sizes range from transactional solutions of < $1M to multi year outsourcing solutions of > $20M. As a second level Practice Architect, a PA II is expected to have the experience and background to perform all the duties described below for engagements that are focused on consulting/delivery management within the defined subject matter area, including resource management, deliverables development, project planning and executions, adherence to contract attributes and costing, customer interaction, and other key aspects of solution based managed services. For a PA II, these engagements will typically be delivered for a North America customer or at the customer location, usually North American based. They are expected to have adequate level skills required for complex deliverable-based, fully outsourced, or extremely large scale engagements or programs and lead the delivery effort to a larger cross-functional project/program. This role may require up to 50% travel. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Gain a clear understanding of customers’ business requirements and their technical requirements based upon the developed solution and agreed statement of work (SOW).   • Understand, develop, and mature the solution design by collaborating with customers and stakeholders to manage their expectations and resolve project, stakeholder, and delivery issues in a timely manner.   • Conduct thorough assessments of existing IT/Non-IT processes and systems to identify improvement areas. Lead the design and execution of optimized workflows and integrated solutions that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.   • Implement knowledge management strategy and communicate process and procedures for knowledge transfer from sales/solutions to delivery.   • Perform periodic project/program analysis, product line review, and product line “health checks” with practice and delivery resources.   • Establish and maintain strong relationships with business, IT/Non-IT stakeholders to ensure alignment of services with business needs. Regularly engage with senior management to report on project progress and outcomes.  • Drive the organizational change management process associated with new technology implementations. Develop comprehensive training programs to facilitate smooth transitions and ensure widespread technology adoption and proficiency.  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service management processes.  • Work with other members of the management team to understand project and business priorities and schedule work with development staff based on those priorities. • Capture, develop, and refine intellectual property (IP) based upon projects, programs, and engagements; develop IP to be reusable for future training and delivery requirements. • Drive the practice methodologies, standards and leading practices downwards through the organization.  • Monitor and manage adherence to methodologies and standards to ensure activities are occurring as planned.  • Provide sales support in solution phases of sales engagement life cycle. • Provides project level of effort and cost estimation  ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Proactively anticipate problems; define the problem; identify possible causes; work with team to identify solutions; select and implement the most appropriate solution. • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work. • Make key decisions based upon input from teams; solid understanding of IT Services principles; firm and business objectives and needs analysis. • Mentor, manage and develop product/project team members. Team size varies from 3 team members up to >10 team members. • Ensure ITSM engagements are delivered with the highest quality, on time, and on budget • Provide oversight, mentoring, and training to onshore and off shore teams. • Exercise influence at many levels of the organization up to the Director Level. • Ensures that both tactical and strategic Team Lead goals are met. • Serve as a role model by promoting and demonstrating commitment to practice methodologies, processes and standards for both TEKsystems Global Services and industry-wide, recommending process improvements when necessary. • Lend expertise to internal IT teams and task forces as well as other IT projects/programs. • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies • Maintain awareness for additional business opportunities and support pursuit of future business through quality results and escalation to internal stakeholders when additional business opportunities may present themselves. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • BA or BS degree in a related field, MS preferred. • Advanced ITIL certifications (ex. ITIL v3 Expert or ITIL v4 Managing Professional) • 8+ years project management leadership experience in an IT consulting service provider environment. • Program management experience (i.e., able to manage a portfolio of projects concurrently). • Practice-centric experience required (e.g., IT Service Management, OCM, PMO).  • Proposal and/or Statement of Work development experience. • Proven ITSM product/solution development management experience.  • Strong knowledge and experience in disciplines, tools, and processes within IT Service Management. • Work experience in ServiceNow preferred. SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage technical challenges on multiple projects / programs simultaneously • Proven ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment • Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-teams to deliver successful solutions • Excellent management, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • Sound judgment and tact • Excellent written and verbal communicator Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
