Department Summary:
MITRE Industrial Security Programs (ISP) oversees the operations of classified facilities and ensures the implementation of operative security controls intended for the protection of unclassified and classified national security information (NSI) developed by or entrusted to MITRE as a member of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The department applies resources to mitigate risk across operational domains through a continuum of security administration standards, control strategies, and oversight levels that align with corporate needs and expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
MITRE Corporation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented JADE Security Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will report directly to the MITRE SAPCOORD and will be responsible for managing all MITRE JADE records across the corporation. This role involves handling personnel records, including personal, assignment, and clearance information, and providing day-to-day support for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data entry into the Personnel Security System database (GSID) and maintain all customer-sponsored billets and quota information.Maintain personnel security files for all personnel associated with the supported SAP element.Provide JADE support for Contractor Program Security Officers (CPSOs).Execute miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the SAPCOORD.Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities with appropriate government personnel to ensure timely clearance actions.Participate in DoD SAP security compliance inspections of government organizations and industry SETA programs.Prepare, process, and/or review Program Access Requests (PARs) for accuracy and access eligibility.Execute Special Access Program Nomination Process Questionnaires.Conduct DISS, Scattered Castles, and SAPNP reviews of candidates being submitted for SAP access.Perform data entry and record checks in JADE and maintain all customer-sponsored personnel access information.Conduct program indoctrinations.Perform additional duties as assigned by the SAPCOORD.Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.Must have evident experience implementing related areas of: IC Standards or Directives; DoD Directives, Instructions, Manuals, or Standards, i.e., 32 Code of Federal Regulations Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM); or related government regulation. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively work with all levels of management and key management personnel. Active Top Secret clearance. This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with security clearance processes and SAP/SCI activities is preferred.Proficiency in data entry and database management.Experience with DISS, SCThis requisition requires the candidate to have a minimum of the following clearance(s):
