As a Janitor, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our campus buildings and adjacent grounds. This includes special cleaning projects, managing set up and tear down for events, and completing snow removal on sidewalks and walkways adjacent to buildings. Other duties include: + Supervising and prioritizing work assignments for a small group of custodial staff for an assigned work area + Reporting damages or needed maintenance repair in an assigned area for which a higher-level repair capability is needed + Promoting a positive work environment by modeling and reinforcing Facilities Services Workplace Protocols + Maintaining accurate records associated with the custodial operation for an assigned building(s) related to supplies and equipment, employee attendance, time management, and inventories SHIFT : 4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. with Saturday/Sunday pass days Required Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and communicate orally and in writing to exchange information.
