**Job Title: Janitor Cleaner (3pm-11:30pm OR 4pm-12am)** **Job Description** Provides quality customer service by offering detailed one-on-one attention. Responsibilities include sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing floors, vacuuming carpets, rugs, and draperies, shampooing carpets, rugs, and upholstery, dusting and polishing furniture and fittings, cleaning metal fixtures and fittings, emptying and cleaning trash containers, disposing of trash in a sanitary manner, cleaning wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and glass surfaces, making up beds and changing linens as required, realigning furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout, responding to guest queries and requests, attending to housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses, contributing to team efforts, and exhibiting professionalism with customers and fellow associates. **Responsibilities** + Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors. + Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies. + Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery. + Dust and polish furniture and fittings. + Clean metal fixtures and fittings. + Empty and clean trash containers. + Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner. + Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and glass surfaces. + Make up beds and change linens as required. + Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout. + Respond to guest queries and requests. + Attend to housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses. + Contribute to team efforts. + Exhibit professionalism with customers and fellow associates. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, and janitorial services. + Previous service experience from fast food, grocery stores, convenience stores, or hotels. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Candidates will be customer interfacing and should be able to communicate with doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and patients or family members/visitors. **Work Environment** Candidates will help refresh/clean bathrooms and take out trash on different floors and common areas. Each room should take anywhere from 5-7 minutes to refresh, which could include restocking, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping, and taking out trash in rooms and common areas. Candidates must be open to working weekends, will get 2 days off during the week, and will receive their schedule a month in advance. The dress code includes black pants (slacks or work pants), a black or grey plain shirt with no writing or logos, and all-black comfortable shoes. Scrubs, jeans, or sweat pants are not allowed. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $15.50/hr.
