**Job Description** Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail. Sweeps, scrubs, mops, and polishes floors. Vacuums carpets, rugs, and draperies. Shampoos carpets, rugs, and upholstery. Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings. Cleans metal fixtures and fittings. Empties and cleans trash containers. Disposes of trash in a sanitary manner. Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and glass surfaces. Makes up beds and changes linens as required. Realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout. Responds to guest queries and requests. Responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses. Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others. **Work Environment** Candidate will be working at the hospital specifically doing all the discharge cleaning. They will be cleaning top to bottom and turning over the rooms once a patient is discharged. Each room will take about 40-45 minutes to clean. Within the hospital, candidates may come in contact with doctors, nurses, hospital staff, patients, or family members/visitors. The majority of these roles will be handling discharge cleaning. **Pay/Shifts Available** **Pay: $16/hr** 1st Shift: 7am-3:30pm or 8am-4:30pm 2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm or 3pm-11:30pm or 4pm to 12:30am + all candidates will work every other weekend **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
