**Job Title:** _Janitor_ **Job Type:** _Full-Time; Contractor; 9/80_ **Location:** _Northridge, CA_ **Schedule:** _9/80_ **Pay Rate:** _$20 per hour_ **Job Responsibilities** + Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by emptying and cleaning trash receptacles, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces + Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets + Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap, sanitary products etc.)Wipe mirrors and windows + Cleaning entrances, including glass doors and floors + Report any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the appropriate department **Basic Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required + Previous custodial experience required + Knowledge of use of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances + Possess working knowledge of the methods, technique, and materials used in custodial work + Knowledge of safe use and disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components + Attention to detail and conscientiousness + Ability to climb ladders and work from heights + Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds + Good physical condition and strength **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
