Job Title: Janitor

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Janitor to join our team at Danville Hospital. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff. Your primary responsibility will be to clean and sanitize hospital rooms, particularly after patient discharges, ensuring that each room is ready for the next patient.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize hospital rooms, with a focus on post-discharge cleaning.Wipe down equipment and surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.Sweep, mop, and dust floors and surfaces to keep the hospital spotless.Promptly clean up spills to ensure safety.Use hospital-issued iPhones to receive assignments and access cleaning tutorials.Learn and efficiently navigate the hospital's floor plan.

Qualifications:

Comfortable with significant walking and being on your feet all day.Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.Ability to follow instructions and work independently.Good communication skills to interact with hospital staff.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
