Position: Janitor

Job Description:

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within company facilities. This role ensures that all areas, including offices, restrooms, and common spaces, are properly cleaned and maintained according to company standards.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch areas to maintain hygiene standards. Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste materials. Restock cleaning supplies and request replacements as needed. Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Respond to spills, accidents, and emergency cleaning requests promptly. Follow safety guidelines and comply with company cleaning procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness. Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
