**Job Title: Manufacturing Janitor** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Janitor to join our team to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in our manufacturing facility. This position involves cleaning various areas, including bathrooms, offices, and the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment and handling both clean and dirty areas. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Clean and Sanitize Restrooms:** Ensure all bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.). + **Office and Common Area Cleaning:** Clean office spaces, meeting rooms, and break areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as needed. + **Manufacturing Floor and Production Areas:** Clean and maintain the manufacturing floor, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces. Responsible for clearing waste materials and debris from production areas. + **Trash Collection and Disposal:** Empty trash cans throughout the facility and replace liners. Transport trash to designated disposal areas. + **Floor Care:** Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and buffing, particularly in high-traffic and industrial areas. + **Cleaning Equipment:** Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers. + **Restocking Supplies:** Maintain inventory of cleaning and restroom supplies, notifying the supervisor when stock needs replenishing. + **Adhere to Safety Protocols:** Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while cleaning, particularly in manufacturing environments, to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA standards. + **General Maintenance:** Report any maintenance or repair needs, including broken equipment, leaks, or hazards. + **Other Duties as Assigned:** Assist with additional cleaning tasks as required. **Qualifications:** + Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in a manufacturing or industrial setting. + Ability to work independently and follow instructions. + Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including clean and dirty spaces. + Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling techniques. + Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. + Ability to operate cleaning equipment. + Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. + Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with team members and supervisors. + Flexibility to work part-time during day shift hours. **Working Hours:** + This is a part-time position with a day shift schedule. Specific hours may vary depending on facility needs, but generally will fall between ( e.g., 7:00 AM to 1PM). **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
