The role of the Janitorial Supervisor is to ensure the proper operation & performance of all aspects of a comprehensive janitorial program in a manufacturing / administrative environment and ensure all hourly staff is performing job to standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Review previous shift EOS report. Note any items that carryoverConduct daily safety momentAssign employees routes for their shiftFlex employees to address any hot spots, absences, etc.Robot Cell Cleaning Program ReviewGeneral Housekeeping ProgramEmergency Response Clean Up ProgramDaily Client Communication and Detailed Shift ReportingAudit workspace using Go Spot CheckReporting Supplies usage to be orderedThe supervision of all cleaning staff focusing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behavior while on dutyReviewing work scheduleMonitoring of all cleaning activitiesEnsuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures

Supervisory Responsibilities for the following Support

Establishment of cleaning standards and procedures for workers and ensure adherence to these standards and proceduresCoaching and developing employees (cleaners)Scheduling and assigning specific duties/roles to cleaners and also ensuring that they are carried out expertlyInspection of cleaning equipment on a regular basis so as to know when they are worn-out and also request for replacementControlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials so as to avoid or minimize waste and/or misuseProviding any form of required assistance to cleaners while they carry out their duties.
