Job Summary

Are you an experienced janitorial professional looking for a leadership opportunity? We are seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities while leading a team of custodians. This role ensures that all areas, including bathrooms, hallways, and kitchens, are kept clean and safe. If you have strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach, we want to hear from you!

What You Will Do

Ensure that bathrooms, hallways, kitchens, and other facility areas are clean and well-maintained. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. Respond to maintenance requests, including minor repairs. Move furniture as needed. Unpack and restock supplies in cafeterias and kitchenettes. Supervise and support custodial staff, ensuring work is completed to high standards. Monitor work quality and ensure thoroughness and accuracy. Oversee safety practices and step in as a substitute custodian when necessary.

You're an Ideal Candidate If You Have:

High School Diploma or GED required (a combination of education and experience will be considered). 2-4 years of janitorial experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. A valid driver’s license (preferred, with fewer than 6 points on record). Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities with a positive approach. Strong leadership skills, including training and supervising custodial staff. Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and listening. Customer-focused mindset, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all. Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of janitorial software (JAMS Droid apps preferred).

Compensation

$22.00 per hour
