Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Janitorial Workers to join our team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of 13 buildings, including unique dorms, apartments, common spaces, large lounges, kitchens, main lobbies, and office spaces. The role involves emptying trash cans, separating recycling and garbage, sanitizing touch points, mopping, buffing, and shampooing carpets. Additionally, candidates will prepare units for new students by cleaning and sanitizing them.
ResponsibilitiesService 13 buildings including dorms, apartments, common spaces, lounges, kitchens, lobbies, and offices.Empty trash cans and bins, separate recycling and garbage.Sanitize touch points: handrails, push plates, light switches, knobs, etc.Mop, buff, and shampoo carpets.Prepare units for new student occupancy by cleaning and sanitizing.Maintain equipment in on-site janitorial closets.Work independently or in pairs depending on building assignment.Use stairs if elevators are out of service.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of commercial cleaning experience.Experience cleaning warehouses, office spaces, events, schools, etc.Comfortable working with students and maintaining professionalism.Ability to work through work orders efficiently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in janitorial, commercial cleaning, housekeeping, and sanitization.Skills in dusting, mopping, sweeping, and general cleaning.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work across 13 buildings including apartments, dorms, lobbies, and common areas. Be comfortable using stairs and walking across campus in all seasons. Shifts include 7:00-3:30, 7:30-4:00, and 8:30-5:00 with a lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. Schedules will be set during the first week, and paid parking on campus is provided.

The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $16.35
