Our client, a leading manufacturing and laboratory facility, is looking for a Janitorial Worker to join their team in Chatsworth, CA. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility, including production areas, offices, and laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning and janitorial services to support both production and non-production areas.Clean and sanitize manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, belts, pumps, tables, and hand trucks.Maintain cleanliness in office spaces, breakrooms, and laboratory areas.Mop, sweep, wipe, dust, and scrub floors, doors, windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.Remove facility garbage and debris, compacting trash and cardboard as required.Restock supplies such as gloves, paper towels, and hair/beard nets.Maintain a sanitary washroom, including sinks, drying racks, and storage areas.Follow safety guidelines, using personal protective equipment when handling cleaning solutions.Document and log completed cleaning and sanitation tasks.Assist in assembling and disassembling manufacturing equipment for cleaning purposes.Receive and store materials, supplies, and equipment.Propose process improvements to the supervisor and seek clarification on unclear procedures.

Requirements:

Previous janitorial or sanitation experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred.Ability to work safely and maintain awareness of surroundings at all times.Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment handling.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
