Job Description SummaryThe Commercial Finance Leader for Japan plays a critical role as a strategic partner in Japan's largest business - Imaging division's financial and business goals. This leader will drive key financial strategies, support commercial decision-making, and champion growth across products and modalities, directly impacting business performance. Reporting to the Japan CFO, the Commercial Finance Leader will lead initiatives to maximize profitability, support pricing strategies, and align with cross-functional teams to optimize business outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering and Profitability Management for Growth and Profitability
Commercial Finance for Growth : Pricing strategy and Deal margin support from finance perspective, Backlog conversion review, Strategic offerings with financing.Profitability Analysis: Drive in-depth analysis on product profitability, including New Product Introductions (NPIs), product configurations, and sub-modality performance.Commercial Finance and Pricing: Provide strategic commercial finance support, pricing guidance, and data-driven insights to optimize revenue and margins.Investment Prioritization: Assess and prioritize key investment opportunities to align with Japan and International business strategies, ensuring alignment with both local and regional business objectives.Process Improvement: Lead simplification initiatives, continuously identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Strategic Planning and Analysis
Growth Playbook and Operating Plans: Develop and refine long-term growth playbooks, operating plans, and strategic business cases to fuel sustainable growth and profitability.Sales and Cost Analysis: Analyze orders, sales, backlog, and sub-modality Sales/COGS/SM Sales to CM, ensuring accurate reporting and insights for the business.Cost and Headcount Planning: Manage base costs and headcount requirements, ensuring they align with budgeted targets and business needs.Working Capital Management: Oversee cash management activities, including inventory and receivables, to optimize liquidity and enhance cash flow performance.
Business Controllership & Financial Reporting
Quarterly Reporting and Closing: Support financial closing and reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate quarterly reports in line with regulatory and internal standards.Variable Compensation Programs: Oversee the design, monitoring, and booking of variable compensation, ensuring it aligns with company goals and performance metrics.Commercial Go-to market budget management: Dealer commission budget and operation, marketing cost for supporting academic events and exhibitions.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CPA, etc.) preferred.Min 10 years Extensive experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or a similar finance role, ideally within the healthcare or technology industries. Experience in multi national company is a plus.Proven track record as a financial business partner with a strong ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, influence cross-functional teams, and drive complex projects to completion.Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in ERP, financial planning systems, and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
