The Language Lead implements and maintains linguistic quality management methodology, providing support to the company and our customers. You will be responsible for growing global linguistic support and quality management initiatives, providing support, tools and insights to help us scale up global language solutions. Job responsibilities:
Translate documents, not specific to one industry or areaTranslate or bar-raise time sensitive projects to ensure that projects are adhered to the quality standard and delivery SLAConduct periodical quality checks by proofreading/reviewing linguistic work performed by current external vendorsDrive the standardization of tone and style for the marketing content style with agency language quality assurance expertsProvide feedback and linguistic clarifications to the translation and language quality agencies and act as an arbiter for quality improvements when neededAn expert resource for the quality language program to investigate quality variationsMaintain databases and amend translation memoriesJuggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentEstablish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globallyEnsure customer sign-off of end productDemonstrate effective utilization of staff, effectively delegate responsibilityKeep clients informed of project progressWork on preflight materialComplete all other tasks as assigned by a ManagerIt is required to work from the office in Prague
