Volt is immediately hiring a Japanese Speaking Office Manager in Gardena, CA.

Location: Gardena, CA
\r\nType: Full-Time, Direct Hire
\r\nSalary: $75K - $80K per year + 20% Bonus

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

\r\n\r\n

What We're Looking For:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBilingual fluency in Japanese and English, with the ability to read, interpret, and write business documents in both languages.\r\n\tMinimum of 5 years of experience in office management or related roles.\r\n\tBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.\r\n\r\n\r\n

As the Japanese Speaking Office Manager, you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t

Office Management:

\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tOversee the General Affairs department’s daily administrative tasks, ensuring a high level of internal customer satisfaction.\r\n\t\tManage office supply inventories, negotiate vendor contracts, and implement efficient storage systems.\r\n\t\tPartner with Facilities and Safety Managers to maintain a safe and productive work environment.\r\n\t\tSupervise and mentor the Office Coordinator, fostering collaboration and efficiency.\r\n\t\tAssist in budgeting, financial reporting, and billing, while analyzing operational data to improve office efficiency.\r\n\t\tHandle special projects and tasks assigned by the Senior Manager and headquarters in Japan.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t

Proposal Processing:

\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tManage the end-to-end proposal process, ensuring timely submissions and providing training to new hires.\r\n\t\tAddress proposal-related inquiries and collaborate with teams to meet deadlines.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t

Legal, Compliance, and Policies:

\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAssist with legal document reviews, contract management, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards.\r\n\t\tSupport policy implementation and play a key role in business continuity planning.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t

Expatriate Support:

\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tProvide comprehensive support for expatriates, including visa processing, housing, and transportation arrangements.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\t

Translation and Interpretation:

\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tPerform interpretation and translation tasks between English and Japanese in various business settings, ensuring accurate communication.\r\n\t\r\n\t\r\n\r\n\r\n
