Job Title: Japanese Translator Job Description We are seeking a contract Japanese translator for the PE group. This role involves both verbal and document translation. Responsibilities + Provide verbal translation services. + Translate documents accurately and efficiently. + Manage content and documents related to translation tasks. + Support customer service efforts within the automotive industry. + Engage with technical writing and read manuals in both Japanese and English. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Japanese translation. + Experience in document management and content management. + Customer service experience. + Exposure to the automotive manufacturing industry. + Ability to read and understand technical manuals. + Bilingual in Japanese and English. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience in translation. + Ability to read and comprehend documents and manuals. Work Environment The position is based in a clean room automotive environment. The facility is not temperature controlled. The shift opening is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, averaging around 40-45 hours per week. Employees receive 6 standard holidays paid. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
