CGI has an immediate need for a Java AWS Full Stack Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customer. This position can be located remotely anywhere is CST and EST time zone only.

We are seeking a strong senior developer to join our team with experience on Microservices, File I/O operations handling, Data parsing and transformation to join the API gateway team.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

We are seeking a strong senior Java AWS Developer to join our team.
Full life cycle application/system development.
Develop in distributed application environments (Database, Transaction Management).
Write conceptual and detailed design documents and developing large scale enterprise applications following an Agile execution model.
Source Code Control/Feature Branching/CICD Pipeline Basics, Version Control.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Proficient in designing & developing microservices based architecture.
Required 5+ years of experience working as full stack developer in SDLC, with a strong understanding of Event-driven and asynchronous programming concepts.
Experience/knowledge of AWS development and services.
Experience with Application integrations (SOAP/REST Web Services, ESB, JMS, File/Data transfers, etc.).
Familiar with GIT repositories (Bit Bucket) and Agile Methodology/SCRUM/Kanban/UCD, Terraform, Docker/Container basics.
Required 7-8 years of experience in this skill set:

• Jenkins and GIT– Foundational.​
• Microservices
• File I/O operations handling
• Java 17+
• Spring Boot
• Microservices
• Docker
• AWS (ECS, Cloudwatch, EB, EC2, CF templates, Appmesh, CloudMap, lambda, DynamoDB, RDS etc..)
Oracle DB.
• Some years of Python development experience
• Junit
• Familiar with GIT repositories (Bit Bucket) and Agile Methodology/SCRUM/Kanban/UCD, Terraform, Docker/Container basics.
• Source Code Control/Feature Branching/CICD Pipeline Basics, Version Control.

Education: ​Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field​

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000.00 - $165,300.00.
