Job Description


• Required expertise:
o Java-based design and development
o Eclipse framework and Eclipse plugin development
o JUnit and functional tests
o Deep understanding of Software Configuration Management (SCM) with thorough knowledge of at least one commercial SCM tool
o Experience with development for both Windows and Linux environments
o Experience with development of large scale distributed multi-user applications
o Deep understanding of how to write performant, secure, testable, maintainable code
o Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
• Broad experience with a variety of technologies including several of the following:
o Familiarity with Microsoft Source Code Control Interface
o Web development technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful Web Services, AJAX, DOJO, JSON)
o Microsoft Visual Studio .NET development (C#)
o C/C++ development
o Familiar with commercial database technology (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server)
o Application server technology (WebSphere, WAS Liberty)
o Scripting languages
o Agile and continuous delivery development practices
o Familiarity with Rational Team Concert and Jazz SCM
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
