Summary:
The Software Engineer is an integral member of a team of software professionals responsible for the design, construction, integration, testing, verification and maintenance of the client’s cutting edge SaaS based software products. The successful candidate must be forward-thinking, goal driven and share in a common vision of quality, integrity and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
Review requirements and develop technical design documents with assistance from senior team members.
Independently develop high quality & maintainable code using Java, GWT, SQL.
Develop user interface code using HTML5, JavaScript, GWT and related technologies with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a fast paced, highly technical and result oriented environment.
Assist in maintenance of the software, as required.
Assist in continual improvement of software development process.
Participate in training junior members of the team.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
3 – 5 years of engineering experience with Java, GWT, HTML5, SQL and related technologies.
Experience with Web development.
Experience with at least one traditional RDBMS database.
Knowledge of unit and integration testing. methodologies.
Excellent problem solving abilities is must.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
