Position Summary

Work you’ll do 

Provide technical deliverables in accordance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies such as SCRUM and Agile.Design, develop, and modify software systems and custom components using modern dev stack.Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards; confer with users or system engineers.Analyze systems flow, data usage, work processes, and investigate problem areas.Integrate existing software into new or modified systems.Develop and execute test procedures for software components.Analyze user requirements to derive technical software design and performance requirements.Plan, track, and manage deliverables on short-term sprints and long-term software deployments.

This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) & other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. We provide operational value, modernized mission solutions, and enhanced technology innovation.

Qualifications 

Required: 

Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role.Must live in a commutable distance (a 100-mile radius) to one of the following delivery locations: Gilbert, AZ - Lake Mary, FL - Atlanta, GA - Charlotte, NC - Mechanicsburg, PA - Philadelphia PA - Houston, TX - Dallas, TX – with the ability to commute to the assigned location without the need for overnight accommodations.Ability to travel up to 10% overnight for client/project travel.Expected to co-locate in your designated geo hub location up to 30% of the time based on business needs.3 + years of full stack software development on web and client/server solutions3 + years of experience with Java, Spring, SpringBoot, JavaScript, and HTML.1 + years of experience in Jenkins, and CI/CD creation.

Preferred: 

6+ years of experience working with J2EE Framework components such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Logging mechanism (ex. Log4J), Transaction Management, and Thread Management.1 + Years of experience developing web applications utilizing Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE), XML, or Web Services at an enterprise level.2+ Years of experience in designing API specifications using RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI, or other API modeling language.Previous experience with Angular, ReactJS, JMS, SOAP, and REST web services.Previous experience and understanding of developing Web-services, HTML UI, CSS, and JavaScript.Previous experience with performing code reviews and recommending automated review tools.
