Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Java Developer Level 2 to join their team on a 12-month contract to hire basis. Contractors need to be located in Cincinnati or Charlotte area currently. This is a hybrid role. The expectation to be in office 2-3 days per week. Duties Include: * Java Developer will own API Gateway, Azure Service Bus, and Enterprise Patient Master Index capabilities * Responsible for leading the implementation of best practices and industry recommended patterns striving towards the robustness, maintainability and scalability of the software applications and databases * Collaborate with designers and product managers to iterate on the design and implementation of our Product * Represent the Team and Product on inter-departmental initiatives involving multi-disciplinary teams across the organization * Lead and mentor team members in software development principles, patterns, processes, and practices * As a Java Developer, you will manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables * Focus on overall product quality and user experience * Provide development support, assistance and resolution for escalations and issues including off-hours
