Client is looking for a Java Development Lead with 5 years of exerience inclusive of J2EE technologies like Spring and Hibernate.The perfect candidate will also have experience in:Core JavaUI technologies like Ext-JS, SCSS, and HTML5 etc.Current experience on developing REST servicesDatabase – strong experience preferably SQL ServerExperience with continuous integration builds toolsProvide design and documentation at an application or function capability levelParticipates in establishing and maintaining application standards and processesReview technical artifacts of junior resources in the teamConduct knowledge transition with in the team members to effectively tackle changing technological landscapeWork with the customer to understand the release planning, scheduling etc.Ability to effectively communicate application and technical direction to the business and within the customers' IT organizationAdvise on issues of systems integration, compatibility, scalability and multiple platformsFull development lifecycle experience as a programmerMust demonstrate experience developing systems / projects from inception through implementationProvide informal mentoring to less experienced team membersShould be able to co-ordinate between the clients and the offshore teamDaily activities will include:
Work on JIRA tickets.Work on Service Orders received from end customers.Co-ordinate with the product management team and offshore resources.Participate in planning meetings to gather requirements.Should be able to provide solutions for the complex issues.Work on product development and enhancements received as User Stories.A Star candidate will able to:
Work independentlyPerform coding and unit testingShould be a good team playerGood analytical abilitiesShould be ready to support GO-Live eventsMust be responsible and take initiative to work on own.
