Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience in Python and Java Fullstack development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Products Management and Industry Essentials. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of technical and domain skills to drive innovative solutions. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable software solutions using Python and Java Fullstack technologies. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle ensuring high-quality deliverables. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. Collaborate with product management to define project requirements and deliverables. Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals and industry standards. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Develop and maintain technical documentation for all projects. Implement industry best practices to enhance product performance and reliability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation. Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.

Qualifications

Possess strong expertise in Python and Java Fullstack development. Demonstrate extensive experience in Products Management and Industry Essentials. Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Show proficiency in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures. Have a solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Display strong communication and collaboration skills. Be capable of working in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $95K to 120K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
