Java Onsite Tech lead
We are looking for a skilled Java Onsite Tech lead to oversee and guide our offshore development team. The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework, specializing in microservices and REST API development. This role demands excellent communication skills, as you will serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for customers and lead the offshore team.
Location: Minneapolis - MN.
**Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future**
The candidate must be at the office for 2 to 3 days.
Responsibilities
· Should have played an Onsite Tech lead role Leading the offshore team with hands on Experienced in Java & Spring boot framework & API’s Development
· Good Communication Skills & Has to play the role of the SPOC for both customers and leading the offshore team.
· Strong hands-on experience in developing micro service using Spring Boot.
· Strong experience in Spring Framework such as Spring MVC, IOC, AOP and Spring JDBC.
· Strong experience in developing REST APIs.
· Strong experience in consuming Web Services/REST services.
· Experience in core Java-Multithreading, collections, Servlet and JDBC.
· Hands-on experience with build and deployment tools such as Ant or Maven or Gradle.
· Unit and integration testing using JUnit.
· Familiar DevOps tools and experience in CI/CD software.
· Experience in Agile methodology.
· Git with Branch and Release Management.
· Familiar with Azure Cloud Platform.
· Exposure to QA automation scripts Using JUnit.
· As a lead should have exposure & working knowledge in Frontend programming mainly ReactJS
Qualifications

Salary and other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until March 28, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
