Job Description Design, develop, and deploy Java applications in a containerized environment using Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker. Implement containerization strategies and best practices, optimizing application performance and security within OpenShift. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Ansible, automating deployments and streamlining workflows. Migrate existing Applications to OpenShift. Design, develop and be accountable for feature delivery. Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality. Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt. Responsible for compliance and security items. Participate in work breakdown and execution. Play a team member role, as an individual contributor. Mentor other team members whenever required. Participate in planning & estimation, peer reviews and other engineering practices. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in building large scape Java applications. Strong skills in design and developing robust RESTAPIs and Micro Services. Proficiency in Spring Boot. Hands on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, building complex infrastructure programmatically through automation and scripting. Experience migrating existing SOAP & REST Services to OpenShift. Exposure to service mesh, load balancers, DDI technologies Detail understanding of networking, security, and storage concepts when comes to containerized environments. Working experience in remediating application security vulnerabilities, CVEs. Skilled in using CI/CD tool set (JIRA/Bitbucket/Jenkins/Artifactory/Ansible) Proficiency in development in Unix/Linux environment Self-motived individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment where business needs/priorities may change. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in building, deploying, securing, and managing OpenShift or Kubernetes across environments. Experience with Linux operating systems and container orchestration Exposure to mission critical web and API based application. Experience in IAM platforms, such as Ping One, Ping Federate, Hypr, Okta, ForgeRock. Experience working with cloud security management or governance tools.
