Java Software Developer Tech Lead (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office)

Our Impact:

The Investment & Capital Markets Business Technology Office (BTO) supports the multifamily vertical by crafting and creating solutions to a variety of technology challenges. This support takes many forms, including deploying new technologies such as mobile solutions and microservices, and maintaining critical underwriting and accounting applications. Our operations team also leads a business-focused service desk and is directly involved in the processing of every deal.

Your Impact:

You will get to show off your skills as a full stack software engineer influencing outcomes, guiding transformation, and influencing how the team and organization evolves. You will mentor and drive full (and accurate) adoption of modern software engineering & Delivery practices (Real Agile, TDD, ATDD, Stateless Design, Microservices, Containerization, etc.) You bring deep knowledge and experience in designing for and implementing solutions in the cloud (AWS). This can range from custom code on IaaS/PaaS to SaaS solution integrations. You will be responsible for interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT, and will apply your strong communications skills to do this effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred

8 - 10+ years of related and proven experience engineering incredible solutions

4-5+ years leading modernized development teams

Languages: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS

Modern Tools: Jenkins, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), Git

DBs: Oracle, Sybase

Cloud: AWS

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $145,000 - $217,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
