Java Software Engineer

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Technology Group is hiring a Software Engineer to provide development, administration, configuration, testing, and infrastructure support. **Job Role and Responsibility** : + Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments + Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures + Resolve moderately complex issues and collaborate with a team to meet existing client needs or new client needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements + Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals. + Participate in projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts + Identify opportunity for service quality and availability within the technology domain environment + Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables and that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology domains + Present recommendations for resolving issues or may escalate issues as needed to meet established service level agreements + Exercise independent judgment while also developing understanding of given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements + Collaborate and consult with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders **Required Qualifications:** + 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + 2+ years' work experience of Java + 2+ years' work experience writing jUnit test cases **Desired Qualifications:** + 1+ years' experience with Cloud services such as AWS or Azure, Java, JSON, Oracle, GitHub experience + 1+ years' experience with Microservices, REST, Apache Kafka, GIT, Jenkins, SOAP, and REST web services experience + 1+ years' experience with Spring Framework, Apache Tomcat, J2EE, Software Development, SQL experience + Experience with dev ops tools like UCD, Jenkins, Harness + Knowledge of Agile + Good communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience + Ability to quickly and accurately execute tactical deliverables + Ability to produce a copy of military orders including applicant name **Job Expectations:** + Provide both application development and production support during off-hours + This position offers a hybrid work schedule + This role is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship **Locations:** + Chandler AZ, Des Moines IA, Charlotte NC or Irving, TX **Posting End Date:** 26 Jan 2025 **_*Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants._** **We Value Diversity** At Wells Fargo, we believe in diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace; accordingly, we welcome applications for employment from all qualified candidates, regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, individuals with disabilities, pregnancy, marital status, status as a protected veteran or any other status protected by applicable law.
