We are building the education platform of the future. As part of this platform, we are providing analytics for schools and institutions about educational tool usage, and ways to improve the adoption rate for certain features with unique communication channels and support automation. On top of these we are building a service with which the institutions can gain meaningful insights of their purchased educational tools. This product area is called Impact.
What you will doRe-imagining an existing analytics product based on a modern tech stack and architectureContinuously learn and apply your technical expertise to efficiently solving bugs, features and any other tasks assigned to you.Take ownership of the components created, by using Instructure’s CI/CD and monitoring toolingCollaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and fostering a positive community.Engage with DevOps practices and cloud environments, specifically AWS, to build and deploy solutions.
What we look for4+ years experience in backend development, working with databases and REST APIs.Experience with CI (Jenkins, Github Actions), and cloud environments - preferably AWSA proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and dedication to meeting user needs through high-quality deliverables.Excellent communication and analytical skillsBig Data and Microservice architecture experience is a plusExperience with modern frontend frameworks is a plus
