Java/SQL Developer
MUST HAVE:
· 5+ years Java programming experience.
· 3+ years development using Microsoft SQL including:
o Strong experience writing complex queries in SQL.
o Experience creating multiple types of joins.
NICE TO HAVE:
· Demonstrated competency in accurately identifying the scope of work and preparing thorough, accurate, and detailed schedule estimates.
· Demonstrated competency in designing, programming, and unit testing complex n-Tier applications.
· Demonstrated competency in producing clear and thorough technical documentation.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
· BS / BA in MIS, Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
· Demonstrated experience with taking initiative to provide input and resolve issues and problems proactively.
· Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, both technical and business related, and to apply these concepts as needed.
· Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
· Experience working in the restaurant or food services industry.
· Experience developing or maintaining point-of-sale (POS) systems.
o Preferably using Java on a POS System.
