Java Technical Lead

The Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Java Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and delivering complex IT transformation projects and will possess strong expertise in various architectural styles and patterns.

Location – Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the project tasks assigned

· Participate in requirement gathering JAD sessions and support documentation where applicable (business, functional, UI, usability, data, compliance, data migration, NFR, 3rd party tools & products)

· Raise queries and get query resolution on areas which are unclear, ambiguous and which need more information to the Technology Lead.

· Provide demo to customer for early feedback; create quality check points for all deliverables

· Develop tier coding, business layer coding, interface development, service development, creation of stored procedures, etc. as applicable for the work package / project;

· CTS and customer specific coding standards, guidelines and best practices

Qualifications

· Strong in Java, ReactJS, JavaScript, JSON, Rest API, Spring boot etc.

· Experience in AWS

· Experience in any scripting and programming languages is must - Bash, Python, etc.

· Experience in Handling Kubernetes setup and AWS Cloud Formation

· Experience in Jenkins/Gitlab and integration with various tools (CI/CD Process)

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
