Job Description
Candidate must be able to work closely with the Business/Technical teams to assess requirements, help define the visual interface design and translate the visual design elements into web screens.
on constantly improving the current UI model/architecture to make it flexible, re-usable thereby reducing development throughput time for UI.
Develop high-level systems and functional specifications Candidate will design and code, documentation of design, and implementation of methodologies to ensure high quality deployments.
Validate relational database models.
Perform Data Migration from two different databases to a new database Design, write, test, and debug/troubleshoot JSF web application independently and in collaboration with customers to provide solutions that address their needs.
Coach and mentor junior UI developers and be the SME on UI development and architecture.
Provide production support and troubleshoot bugs.
Incorporate security requirements into an application
Requirements
6 years of hands-on UI development experience using Java Server Faces (JSF) implementations like Faces, JSP, AJAX, JDK, Java Script, JAXP, JavaMail, Log4J,XHTML, CSS and JSTL.
Experience using RAD as a development work bench.
Experience using various design patterns preferably MVC.
Experience with Websphere and Oracle.
Exposure to ETL, Reporting tools.
interpersonal and communication skills.
Problem solver with attention to detail.
Self-motivated with strong time management skills and able to handle multiple assignments.
Property & Casualty insurance preferred.
