Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive JD Edwards Analyst with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to join our IT team. As a JD Edwards Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing JD Edwards ERP applications across various business functions. You will work closely with business users, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure the smooth operation of JD Edwards systems and contribute to system improvements and enhancements
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
+ System Support and Troubleshooting:
+ Provide day-to-day support for JD Edwards (JDE) applications, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently. Ensure system availability and optimal performance.
+ Configuration & Customization:
+ Assist in configuring JD Edwards modules based on business requirements. Work with business users to understand processes and implement system changes and enhancements.
+ Process Improvement:
+ Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improving system functionality. Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
+ User Training & Documentation:
+ Provide training to end-users on JDE functionality, new features, and process changes. Create and maintain user manuals, documentation, and system guidelines.
+ Testing & Quality Assurance:
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to define test cases and ensure system functionality is as expected through rigorous testing. Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
+ Upgrade & Patch Management:
+ Support system upgrades, patches, and application releases. Work with the technical team to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
+ Project Support:
+ Participate in project planning and execution, providing expertise on JDE modules, customizations, and integrations. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new business solutions and initiatives.
+ Integration Support:
+ Collaborate with other systems (e.g., CRM, SCM, Finance) to ensure seamless integration with JD Edwards, troubleshooting integration issues as needed.
Required Qualifications:
+ Experience:
+ 3-5 years of experience working with JD Edwards ERP systems, with a strong understanding of at least one or more of the following modules: Finance (GL, AP, AR), Procurement (P2P), Distribution (Inventory Management), Manufacturing, and/or HR (HRM).
+ Technical Skills:
+ Proficiency in JD Edwards tools, including EnterpriseOne (E1), Form Design, and Report Workbench. Familiarity with JDE configuration, batch processing, and data mapping.
+ Business Process Knowledge:
+ Strong understanding of business processes, particularly in areas like finance, procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain. Ability to align JD Edwards solutions with business needs.
+ Problem-Solving:
+ Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve system issues.
+ Communication Skills:
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with end-users, vendors, and technical teams. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Collaboration:
+ Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 or newer.
+ Familiarity with JDE Security, orchestration, and other advanced JDE features.
+ Experience in managing system upgrades or migrations.
+ JD Edwards certification(s) is a plus.
