Job Responsibilities

Perform daily farm activities/chores associated with caring for breeder turkeys, hatching eggs, and using farm equipment as outlined and described in the department operating manual Help employees with safety, productivity and cost control by providing personal involvement in farm management and operating decisions/problem solving Responsible for accurate counting and record keeping for eggs packed, eggs culled, cooler temperatures and humidity's of internal egg temperatures.

Minimum Qualifications

Reliable transportation to and from assigned farm Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays 9th grade level in math, reading and writing skills Ability to work unsupervised PHYSICAL: Must have the ability to lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist occasionally Ability to wear eye protection as well as respiratory protection equipment continually Ability to work in all weather conditions whether its hot or cold No restrictions with lifting, bending or standing

Preferred Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a good record High school diploma or equivalent 2 years farm experience
