Polishing & Finishing:

Jewelry Production polisher/finisher with minimum 5 years of experienceAbility to meet daily and weekly deadlines to finish work meeting shipping cut offs and customer expectations.Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers on team to accomplish specific outcomes.English speaking and the ability to understand written directions without assistance.Polish jewelry that has been repaired. Applying finishes and restoring delicate jewelry to perfectionDemonstrate ownership of area of responsibility. Manage area with pride. Keep areas clean and organized at all timesUnderstanding of jewelry tools, polishing tools, polishing compounds and their unique differencesUnderstanding of special power equipment used in polished and finishing such as Jeweler steamers, Drying box, ultrasonic cleaning equipment, polishing wheels, power dental Lathes, Flex-shaft use and safety, understanding how to use a powerful dust collector, understanding a blast cabinet.Working safely with chemicals needed in jewelry finishing such as Oxidizer, Acids for silver cleaning, Rhodium plating solutions, and common jewelry cleaning solutions. Full competency of chemical safety and understanding of anti-cross contamination protocol to maintain a safe working environment for team.Be open to constructive criticism, redo work, QC reject and show a willing nature to exceed customers’ expectations.Ability to manage area independently, keep supplies stocked and always ordered.

Watch Batteries & Minor Watch Repair

Changing watch batteriesInstalling straps and bracelets on watchesMinor Watch repair at a bench / adjusting links and tightening clasps.Understanding of the anatomy of a time pieceUnderstanding of the proper protocol of watch battery replacement – Prior experience onlyAbility to understand written instructions. Full mastery of reading comprehension in English with the ability to perform tasks as instructed.Keeping the watch bench stocked with supplies and well organized with special emphasis on cleanliness.  Ability to work with fine watch tools and very small parts. Must have a high level of dexterity.Attentions to detail and great care is needed for this role.Mechanically minded individual and understanding of all types of watches and how they operate.Ability to set complicated digital watches.  Working in a close environment on a team with others and the ability to add value to a positive work environment.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $23.75 - $41.25 hourly

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
