Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Jira and Confluence Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance our Atlassian suite of tools. This includes Jira, Confluence, and associated plugins. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and usability of the tools while providing support to users. The ideal candidate has knowledge of and experience with Script runner and Zephyr Scale test management plugins.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage, maintain, and upgrade the Jira and Confluence applications and plugins.
2. Conduct regular testing of both applications and their plugins to ensure plugins are up to date.
3. Provide basic support to users, troubleshooting any technical issues they may face.
4. Adaptavist ScriptRunner automation knowledge (enhancing workflows, automating Jira tasks, customizing the Jira user interface)
5. Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of the applications.
6. Create and maintain technical documentation and user-guides.
7. Manage project archiving in accordance with company policies and procedures
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Expertise in managing, maintaining, and upgrading Jira and Confluence applications.
2. Strong knowledge of Adaptavist ScriptRunner
3. Coding experience in groovy or java
4. Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide effective technical support.
5. Experience with application testing and quality assurance.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Ability to train users on the use of Jira and Confluence.
