If you are an experienced Jira Bug / Defect Triage Specialist looking for a position with a leading company, Bartech can help! This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening. For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.
Jira Bug / Defect Triage Specialist
Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Jira Bug / Defect Triage Specialist will include: Compensation (Range): / hour: $49.00 - $52.75 The individual will act as a Jira Bug/Defect Triage specialist. Work with x-functional issue reporters to understand newly raised issues, ensure accurate issue description, and that sufficient technical data is provided for troubleshooting. Assign initial priority based on expected issue impact, and facilitate a clean handoff to the correct functional teams who will deliver resolution. Coordinate reviews and communication to Technical Program Management(TPM) for highly critical issues and priority refinement. Assist TPM teams by monitoring issue progression through the bug workflow and identifying where there are stalls, or where help is needed. Assist in Jira process improvements relative to issue management, and educating TPM teams about the evolving Jira processes and toolset.

Job Requirements
As a Jira Bug / Defect Triage Specialist you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Self-directed with strong technical capability and problem solving skills • Experience resolving technical issues at system and interface level that impact base vehicle functions and or feature performance. • Strong communication skills within technical team, and ability to express issues to non-technical team members. • Knowledge of CAN and Ethernet based In-vehicle Network protocols and processes, and experience in using Network tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, ValueCAN, Ethernet tools) • Familiarity with software release process • Ability to solve software issues by applying is/is not, fishbone diagram, 8-D, etc. 3-5 years with electrical architectures, electrical systems, and automotive network topologies Having Systems Engineering experience • Jira issue management / triage or scrum expertise. Education Required: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
