Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is currently seeking a Jira Developer. Position requires an active Top Secret Clearance (with SCI eligibility) and ability to obtain additional clearance requirements. **Please do not apply if you do not possess the required Top Secret Clearance** .

We are currently seeking an experienced **Jira Developer** who shares our conviction that protecting our Nation is a sacred calling. You will work closely with the Government client to ensure the effective development, implementation, and management of numerous IT Systems in support of Defense missions. Join us and play a pivotal role in supporting our client's strategic knowledge management and business intelligence objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Architect and implement a scalable and highly available Jira infrastructure, considering performance, security, and future growth.
+ Design and maintain complex Jira workflows, schemes, and configurations to support diverse teams and projects.
+ Lead Jira upgrades, migrations, and plugin implementations, minimizing disruption and ensuring data integrity.
+ Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate Jira administration tasks, user provisioning, data imports/exports, and system maintenance.
+ Leverage Jira APIs and REST APIs to integrate Jira with other DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, monitoring tools).
+ Develop custom Jira plugins and add-ons using Java or Python to extend functionality and meet specific business needs.
+ Utilize JQL (Jira Query Language) to create complex filters, reports, and dashboards for data analysis and reporting.
+ Contribute to the development and maintenance of a Jira knowledge base and API documentation.
+ Design and implement user-friendly Jira dashboards, reports, and interfaces to improve user experience and productivity.
+ Conduct user research and gather feedback to identify areas for UI/UX improvement.
+ Stay abreast of UI/UX design trends and best practices to ensure an intuitive and engaging Jira experience.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Must** **possess a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility**
+ 3+ years of experience administering, configuring, and developing within Jira.
+ Deep understanding of Jira administration, configuration, and customization.
+ Strong Python programming skills with experience in automation and scripting.
+ Proficiency in JQL (Jira Query Language) for advanced searching and reporting.
+ Experience with Jira REST API integration and plugin development.
+ Solid understanding of database design and management principles.
+ Experience with UI/UX design principles and best practices.
+ Sec+ Certification (or equivalent) within 6 months of hire.
**Highly Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Atlassian certification in JIRA Administration or JIRA Software Development.
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
