This role is part of a JJOS MAKE Deployment Team to support implementation of the JJOS and to improve effectiveness and efficiency of MAKE processes. Overall responsibilities will include the deployment on request, of the JJOS Business Process Standards across all segments and franchises of MedTech and Innovative Medicines, from the request for support to the generation of sustainable value for the business, enabling this value generation (Cost, Cash Service) will often require working in collaboration with PLAN, SOURCE, and DELIVER, as well as including the ability to integrate innovative new technologies to support development of supply chain capabilities.

The MAKE JJOS pillar is made of 10 Business Process Standards and is supported by a playbook, a library of diagnostic tools, and standardized approaches to the design and implementation process for all stages. The JJOS Deployment Agent will master this methodology and apply it, maintaining the playbook as a fundamental reference. They will also have the flexibility to adapt its utilization to the context of their intervention and to the maturity of the organization’s capabilities.

Delivering groundbreaking results across a range of key supply chain metrics is the goal of the JJOS Deployment Agent Sr Manager. The person’s interventions will lead to problem solving, by handling the workstream teams and keeping them focused on impact. They will also ensure that the proposed solutions are aligned with JJOS principles and practices (based on Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, etc.) and that their implementations are timely implemented and are delivering the expected impact.

This position is accountable to ensure that their interventions result in sustainable value generation which influences stakeholders before, during, and after them. It will also require training and coaching of local deployment teams to develop the right capabilities, to ensure understanding and adoption, and to enable a continuous improvement of the implemented solutions. Leveraging the SC Academy and SC Excellence SMEs will be resources to be mobilized by the Deployment Agent when needed.

This leader will work closely with various stakeholders including but not limited to:

Functional leaders in Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Quality, Technology and Digital organizations, and the JJOS Regional Leaders and teams. They will be responsible to be the MAKE contributor to the End-to-End performance improvement solutions proposed, helping to design future states and to convince MAKE partners through data driven demonstrations.

Technology evolves continuously and promises accelerated and more in-depth investigations, future state designs and implementations. The JJOS Deployment Agent will be responsible for adopting and fostering adoption of the validated new tools made available.

Key Responsibilities:Deliver transformational results:Managing work streams - Progress and deliver intermediate and end-results:Phase reports (e.g. diagnostics, design packs, TIPs etc.).Supporting analysis and evidence.Ensure overall quality standard – solutions are aspirational and technically correct.Understand diagnostic results and the levers that will lead to enhanced performance.Review TIPs and ensure milestones link to capturing full diagnosed value.Ensure area and plant metrics will track and reinforce improvement.Provide mentorship to site JJOS leads and plant managers to capture both operational and financial impact.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
