Position Summary:
The Job Developer for Youth Pathways works to develop job opportunities that are appropriate and in line with Youth Pathways participants’ career interests. The Job Developer works closely with the Youth Pathways Service Coordinators and Facilitators to connect participants with available employment opportunities within their desired sector. The Job Developer is also responsible for establishing Employer partnerships and bringing in job opportunities that are fit for the Youth Pathways population. The job developer provides interview prep and coaching one on one or in groups to prepare the Youth Pathways participants for interviews. They also provide feedback to participants based on employer feedback from interviews. Job Developers assist with the employment placement and hiring process, and ultimately assist in guiding the participant into economic self- sufficiency.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Effectively partner with internal and external operations and business partners to meet the needs of employers and job seeking candidates.
+ Execute successful strategies for filling open job orders.
+ Maximize employment opportunities geared towards Youth Pathways participants (ages 18-24).
+ Facilitate recruitment information sessions and workshops.
+ Receive and record information from employers regarding employment opportunities.
+ Assist in the coordination of in-house job fairs, and large-scale recruitment events.
+ Establish Employer Relationships that offer employment opportunities that are a fit for Youth Pathways participants.
+ Consistently bring in job orders that are in line with the sectors of interest for participants engage in the program.
+ Successfully match qualified training graduates to employment opportunities.
+ Maintain accurate and detailed files and case notes on participants.

Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services, Education, Social Work preferred or comparable work-related experience.
+ Minimum (1) year experience in a nonprofit setting, recruiting, successful job placement and/or
+ workforce development.
+ Minimum (1) year experience working with populations on public assistance, with offender backgrounds, disconnected youth, and those affected by the challenges associated with poverty.
+ Experience in providing training and facilitating workshops.
+ Experience with Excel and other Microsoft office tools.
