**Job Title:** **Lock Box Specialist**
**Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road Brooklyn OH 44144 United States**
**Pay Rate:$18/hr on W2 (Part time 20 hrs per week)**
**Duration: 6 months on W2**
**Job Brief:**
Under direct supervision, the **Lock Box Specialist** is responsible for performing routine processing and administrative tasks while adhering to defined procedures and company policies. This role supports various lines of business, such as credit cards, retail banking, consumer lending, mortgage banking, collections, and more. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of completing tasks with accuracy while escalating issues as needed.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Execute routine operational and administrative tasks, including filing, recording, processing, and organizing documentation related to products or processes.
+ Assist in reviewing and verifying documentation and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
+ Handle routine billing inquiries, service requests, and customer complaints, delivering excellent customer service.
+ Perform data entry, monetary processing, and report preparation with high attention to detail.
+ Sort, extract, and batch paper invoices/checks, and properly handle non-payment documents.
+ Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance tasks as required.
+ Collaborate with team members in a fully developed team environment and cross-train in critical department functions, such as mail sorting, keying, reassociation, and data entry.
+ Follow company policies, banking regulations, and guidelines while performing duties.
+ Identify and escalate concerns or issues to supervisors as necessary.
+ Navigate multiple computer systems and applications efficiently.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
**Education & Experience:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
+ 0-1 years of experience with basic knowledge of operational or general office procedures.
**LOB-Specific Skills (as applicable):**
+ Open mail and extract invoices/checks with efficiency (testing may be required).
+ Sort and batch work for processing and address workflow issues as needed.
Provide support in areas such as mail sorting, keying, reassociation, and data entry to ensure operational coverage.
