HOW A PROGRAM MANAGER – SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activitiesOversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the programSeeks and develops outside funding sourcesServes as principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational mattersProvides day-to-day technical/professional guidance and leadership as appropriate to the area of expertiseAccountable for all aspects of contract execution and manages the hands-on, day-to-day execution of related operational activitiesResponsible for program/project management operations and resourcing of all task order requirements, including staffing, GFE accountability, and tasking responsesResponsible for meeting all technical, financial, and contractual requirementsEnsures that management processes and business systems facilitate meeting performance requirementsPrimary Point-of-Contact and is authorized to act on all matters relating to the daily operation ofthe task orderCommunication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinatesServes as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor’s senior managementDirectly contributes to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activitiesEnsures proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contractUtilizes expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience; Minimum 10 years of project management experience, including 8 years of supervisory experience leading teams of at least 40 peoplePreferred Skillset/Experience:Effective management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective business development skills including proposal development and preparationEffective communication skillsDetailed knowledge of relevant government regulations and standardsPossess three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms such as Earned Value Management and five (5) years direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environmentClearance Level: TS/SCIRequired Certification(s):DoD 8140/8570 Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contractComputing Environment certification: PMP certification or Federal Acquisition Certification for Program and Project Managers (FACP/PM)​Location: On Customer SiteAdditional:Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contractTravel may be required to support the mission

The likely salary range for this position is $134,597 - $204,360. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
