  The Role at a glance:

We are looking for a skilled, experienced Senior Accountant to join Elior North America’s corporate SSC team in Ridgeland, MS (position can be remote). As the Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to support the growth and operations of diverse accounts across the country.

What you'll be doing: rform month end closing activities in a timely and accurate manner. Prepare, review and analyze account reconciliations of business units. Complete monthly reporting packages to corporate. Provide responses to requests for business unit accounting information. Work closely with other departments and business units regarding accounting activities. Identify and resolve financial, reporting and business unit matters. Review other staff accountants work product (peer review), provide guidance and follow through. Perform balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare analyses and reports as requested by management. Perform monthly calculations and journal entries. What we're looking for:

Must-haves: 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.  At least five years’ experience in accounting or finance.  Working knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS. Intermediate to advanced PC skills particularly in the use of Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with and understanding of accounting ERP systems, processes and charts of accounts. Dedicated employee able to work flexible hours, including hours beyond the normal work week when required. Flexible and able to respond to changing demands of position. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 

Nice-to-haves: 

CPA license.  Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or SAP.
