Do you want to make a real impact on the future of work? SHRM’s Policy and Government Affairs team is expanding, and we are hiring for **multiple roles** ranging from junior to experienced positions. We’re looking for individuals with a range of skills and experiences, including: + **Policy Analysis and Development:** Experience researching and crafting policy proposals related to workplace issues, including legal training. + **Government Relations and Advocacy:** Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes, with experience building relationships with policymakers on Capitol Hill, in state legislatures, or within government agencies. + **Strategic Communications:** Excellent writing and speaking skills to communicate complex workplace issues to varied audiences. + **Project Management:** Ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and meet critical deadlines. + **Coalition Building:** Experience collaborating with industry groups, advocacy organizations, or other stakeholders, including associations and foundations. + **Data Analysis:** Proficiency in interpreting workforce trends, economic indicators, and SHRM research to inform policy priorities. + **Key Policy Areas:** Experience or strong interest in healthcare, taxes, untapped talent pools, workforce development, regulatory affairs, and global workforce policy. We’re hiring for **multiple roles** at various experience levels, offering opportunities for professionals at all stages of their careers such as: Policy Advisor: $70,000 - $82,000 Sr. Policy Advisor: $75,000 - $98,000 Government Affairs Director: $140,000 - $175,000 _These ranges is an estimate and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
