**Job Title:** Joint Venture Contracts Analyst
**Location:** Calgary, AB
Our client, a leader in the energy sector, is seeking a Joint Venture Contracts Analyst to join their team. As a Joint Venture Contracts Analyst, you will be part of the Land & JV organization supporting the Joint Venture team. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Description:**
+ Drafting all types of Joint Venture agreements to document and execute on commercial and business development opportunities.
+ Reviewing and executing agreement amendments, revisions, ownership changes, fee changes, obligations, contact/address changes, etc.
+ Creating and maintaining cost centers to manage revenue, ownership, throughput, contract operating, and other unique business requirements.
+ Engaging, supporting, and collaborating with other stakeholder groups including operations, engineering, production & joint venture accounting, land, legal, audit, A&D, EQ, etc.
+ Running and analyzing reports to identify data gaps, discrepancies, or areas for improvement within systems, trackers, and other databases.
**Qualifications:**
+ Completion of the PJVA Petroleum Joint Venture Analyst & Petroleum Joint Venture Administrator Certificates preferred.
+ Undergraduate degree in business, commerce, or similar disciplines is considered an asset.
+ 5-7 years of relevant experience in a joint venture role preferred.
+ Strong analytical skills to identify variances, gaps, trends, patterns, or efficiencies in both data and process.
+ Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, CS Land, StackDX, Accumap, and Energylink is preferred.
