Journeyman Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst

The Journeyman Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst is essential for the execution of acquisition, project management, and administrative support for DoD customers. This role entails the management of various duties ranging from project support to ensuring compliance with procurement and financial regulations. The candidate will work on projects that require close coordination with teams, managing meetings, action items, and program documentation, aiming to streamline program processes and ensure the success of mission-critical objectives. **This position is contingent upon contract award.** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Journeyman Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst will be responsible for: + Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA). + Attends, participates in, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares, and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards. Prepare and maintain documentation utilizing the AMS Suite of Tools (CSPT, CDRL, and PMT). + Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. + Providing project management support, including preparing meeting agendas, coordinating and participating in IPT and prime contractor meetings, and preparing and distributing meeting minutes. + Assisting in the collection, analysis, and distribution of technical and programmatic data. + Supporting acquisition processes, from requisition package review to ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements. + Participating in financial management support, assisting in budget development, financial execution tracking, and financial document generation. + Providing configuration and data management (CM/DM) support, including maintaining a configuration management control system and assisting in developing configuration management plans. + Assisting in Information Technology (IT) management, ensuring compliance with program security plans and procedures. + Supporting security management efforts, including program information security, personnel security, and industrial security activities. + Engaging in detailed support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and international support, including analysis of Letter of Offer and Acceptance documentation and preparation of draft Pricing and Availability data packages. + Performing other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: + A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of experience in acquisition, project management, or similar fields. + ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTIONS: + An Associates degree plus 2 additional years work experience (for a total of 5 years) performing duties described above may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. OR: + An additional 4 years of relevant work experience (for a total of 7 years) with no degree may substitute for a Bachelor's degree. + Thorough knowledge of ASN (Research, Development & Acquisition) Information Systems (RDAIS). + Understanding of Cost Pillar Initiatives. + Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team. + Strong communication, organizational, and analytical capabilities. + Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and project management tools. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition policies and practices. + Experience with defense mission support systems and platforms. + Knowledge of configuration and data management principles. + Financial management and budgeting experience within defense programs. + Background in supporting international defense acquisition programs.
