**Job Title: Journeyman Electrician** **Job Description** New opportunity specializing in the manufacturing of pre-manufactured modular homes for multi-family living, senior living, and hospitality developments. Modular homes involve manufacturing entire buildings in a production environment, which are then transported to new build construction sites to be assembled by the general contractor. We are seeking an experienced Electrician with knowledge of MN building codes and experience in residential and commercial builds. **Responsibilities** + Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. + Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and appliances. + Connect circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. + Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications. + Make recommendations to plan layouts, install, and repair wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and fuse boxes. + Inspect wiring and fixtures for company specifications or local electrical codes. + Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments to ensure compliance with electrical codes. + Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. + Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of skilled electrical work on commercial and residential new builds. + Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of electrical applications. + Knowledge of methods and techniques of performing skilled electrical work. + Experience with low voltage, pulling cable, troubleshooting, construction, conduit bending, and both commercial and residential construction. + Familiarity with electrical installation, building codes, blueprints, and wiring. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to work collaboratively, lead, and be a team player. + Skilled in interpersonal communication by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. **Why Work Here?** Top reasons to work here include the opportunity to be part of a start-up in a brand new 180,000 square foot facility, a 4-day work week schedule, PTO and holiday benefits, a 401k plan with match, opportunities for growth and mentoring a team, and brand new company-supplied tools. **Work Environment** The work schedule is Monday - Thursday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm with an optional shift on Friday. Alternatively, there is a Monday - Thursday shift from 4:00 pm to 2:00 am with an optional shift on Friday. This is a shop-based position that will not count towards a Journeyman or Master license. Candidates must be comfortable with this. The role offers year-round work in a single location, eliminating the need for travel.
